NL: Ten Kate Racing keert officieel terug in WorldSBK 2019
Eind 2018 kwam er een eind aan de jarenlange samenwerking tussen Ten Kate en Honda. Afgelopen maanden is er met man en macht gewerkt aan een terugkeer. In onze ogen is het WorldSBK paddock niet compleet zonder een race team van Ten Kate. Gelukkig mogen wij u officieel mededelen dat hier verandering in gaat komen.
Ten Kate Racing heeft overeenstemming bereikt met een vooraanstaande motorenfabrikant en coureur. Er wordt momenteel keihard achter de schermen gewerkt om alle puntjes op de i te zetten. Gelukkig is één ding nu zeker: Ten Kate keert terug de grid van het FIM World Superbike Championship!
Verdere details worden bekend gemaakt op 2 april 2019, tijdens de WorldSBK persconferentie op het TT circuit Assen.

EN: Ten-time world champions Ten Kate Racing to return to World SBK
The World Superbike Championship paddock hasn't been complete this season with the absence of the Nieuwleusen-based Ten Kate Racing. However the squad, already one of the most successful teams in the history of the sport will return to the championship this season after signing deals with a leading manufacturer and first-class rider.
After a lengthy and successful partnership with Honda, yielding ten world titles, came to an abrupt and unexpected end, the team poured all its resources and energy into rebuilding the World Superbike Championship program and mount a comeback in the championship it calls home. And with final details being finalized Ten Kate Racing is now in a position to officially confirm a return to the championship within a few rounds.
Confirmation of the identity of the manufacturer and rider as well as which World Superbike Championship round will see the Dutch team return will be announced personally by the Ten Kate management during the press-conference on April 2nd at the TT Circuit Assen prior the Dutch championship-round at the historic venue.
Ten Kate Racing wishes to thank all of its partners, friends, colleagues and of course its fans that have supported the team over the last few months and is eager return to the paddock at full strength.
